You fly! Imagine a wind tunnel that could be used to test the aerodynamics of a F1 race car, put it up, gently tilt the air stream and you do skydiving. To see what we are talking about, the simplest way is to come see AirFly in action and you will quickly understand.
The idea to fly inside a tube was first tested by the US Army in 1964. In 1982 two vertical wind tunnels have been opened in the USA in Tennessee, to Las Vegas. AirFly is the 1st of this type of wind tunnel in Europe.

How does a wind tunnel work?
The AirFly wind tunnel works safely and in a simple way. The tunnel air is circulated into a flight Chamber.
To enter the tunnel you turn simply standing in front of the AIRLOCK door open and bend forward. You will feel your legs removed below you you assume a horizontal flight position. Congratulations, you're stealing!
The instructor will help you to get into a position of neutral flight before show you are basic movements. Movements upwards, downwards, forwards, backwards, sideways and turning are all simple and easily manageable and you will soon learn new techniques!
